Salmon then closed the game in the 7 th to secure the 2-1 victory. In the 6 th inning, Pierre led off with a walk and McLochlin tripled later in the inning, to center field, scoring Pierre for the go ahead run.
Later in the inning, Wilson singled and Brian McLean hit a sacrifice fly to right field to plate Shirley for their first run. In the 3 rd inning, Rundle was able to get on, on an error, and Shirley entered to run for Rundle as a courtesy runner.
